The whole Sparks & Co team joins me today to wish you all a
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016
We have just closed the 2015 chapter, and it is now time to sum up everything that happened. And trust me, a lot has happened.
In 2015, we started off with some tragic news, and we ended it the same way. I’m sure you all now know we’re based in Paris, France, where two terrorists attacks threatened our freedom of speech and lives. Although this has had a tremendous impact on our daily lives, we feel blessed to say our team remained safe. We all hope for a safer and better future in Europe and beyond.
This past year has also marked our success with two European funded projects: DIAGORAS and LSFM4LIFE. Along with the happiness to have won with other valued partners, we have started building a great team of project managers, assistants, and local business partners such as printers, graphic designers and so on. Thanks to everyone enthusiasm and positivity, we have layed grounds for a successful team to bring the company further.
What are we hoping for in 2016?
We are still awaiting the evaluation of some proposals we have submitted in the 2014-2015 Work Programme for Horizon 2020. While the new Work Programme is only starting this week, we can say we have already integrated 9 project proposals! We are of course really excited to see our previous partners come back to us for new projects and are actively looking for new ones.
As soon as we win a new project we will be able to integrate a new project manager into our team. Keep an eye on our news if you’d be interested in working with us!
Finally, we are hoping to support science and innovation stakeholders to make the world a better place by helping them communicate about their work and help their discoveries get broader attention for the greater good.
May 2016 make you feel as optimistic about the future as we are!
